We joined our friends at the Bushwick Generator & Sustainable United Neighborhoods (SUN) for the first ever Brooklyn Green Summit. This event united local leaders, those actively working in training and recruiting for green jobs, as well as young people and those looking to get into green jobs.
We were delighted to show "Pearls of New York" and a preview of "Brooklyn SolarWorks". This was the first ever VR experience for many of the viewers. Local recruiters and educators remarked that this technology would support them in their efforts helping young people visualize themselves in these careers.
Participants also signed up to volunteer with the Billion Oyster Project, showing a direct engagement as inspired by the VR film.
